CCPCUG Web Page
In 1995, Angus Lockie and his assistants created the CCPCUG BBS (Bulletin Board). Then in 1998 this became the CCPCUG Hope Page managed by Les LaCroix. It was later rebuilt in June of 1999 with Gerhard Fischer as the Webmaster. This is where you will find the history of the CCPCUG.

Door Prizes
The door prizes are drawn at the end of our regular meeting. Only paid-up members are eligible to receive a door prize ticket. Software and other items are usually on display prior to the general meeting. Vendors usually donate gift certificates, software, and miscellaneous articles to the door prize collection. This is just another benefit of being a member of the CCCGC.

Guess Who?
Dorry Conway started the “Guess Who?” feature in the September 1999 issue of the Charlotte Bytes. Members were asked to submit a photo taken many years ago. The picture is then published in the Bytes and members are asked to try to identify the person in the photo at the general meeting. After a few guesses, the person in the photo is asked to stand up. Horst Gorgas continued the program and now Al Rogahn is in charge of the project.

Christmas Parties
Every December the CCCGC has a Christmas Party at one of the area nightspots. The event includes dinner, dancing and entertainment. Members are urged to invite guests to help us celebrate the Christmas season.
