and then Dorry Conway accepted the position as editor in August of 1997. The newsletter currently is a 24 page production with a circulation of 1000 copies every month. Richard Greenwald joined the staff as group photographer. His photos are a welcome addition to the "Charlotte Bytes".
Review Editor
Members who accept a software program have 30 days to write a review of it. If the article is accepted, the member gets to keep the program.
At first, the Newsletter Editor took on the responsibility as Review Editor along with his or her duties as Editor of the Charlotte Bytes. The first appointed Review Editor was Bob Klenck who took over the position on September 1, 1991. Bob was followed by Bill Carlson in September of 1993. Then along came Miriam Williams in March of 1995. It was in January 1996 that Dave Whiterell assumed the duties as Review Editor. He was followed by Barbara Demers in November of 1997. After a vacant two month period, Inge Fischer volunteered to handle the job in February of 1998. Inge is presently doing a notable job and her devotion to the club is appreciated by the group.
