Computer Expos
Prior to 1993, members had to travel to Manatee Community College, which is located between Northport and Venice, to attend a computer expo. John Skinner, President 1992-1995, came up with the idea of the group holding it's own Expo and so the first CCPCUG Expo was held on April 10, 1993 at the United Methodist Church on Quesada Avenue in Port Charlotte. It was a huge success and has been an annual event each year. The attendance grew and grew so the event was moved to the Cultural Center in 1995.
