February 2007 PigSIG

The February Pig SIG will be held on Tuesday February 20 at Portofino, on Bayshore Drive.  

Gloria Heisler has made the arrangements for this event and states the following in her announcement: 

Prices are a tad higher than some of the past locations, but not too bad. The  food is delicious and the view outstanding.  5 pm, second floor.  We won't be able to sit together in a group.  We could have if we'd rented the top floor and done 3 item buffet. 

That gets too complicated.  Several times I have checked out the number of people at tables at 5 pm and there are about 2 tables in use, but it gets busy within a half hour, and very busy by 6 pm. Plan to get there early for best seats.

Please make your reservations early, at least 3 days before the event by calling Gloria at the above  number.  The Pig Sig is a forum where we can meet other members and their spouses who might not be active in CCCGC, in a social atmosphere where the topic of conversation need not be limited to computers.

For future planning so that you can pencil in the rest of the Pig Sigs I have scheduled, here they are:

March 22 will be at Joe Cracker, 1020 El Jobean;
April 17 is River City Grill,132 W. Marion;
May 15 is Whiskey Creek, 2746 Tamiami Trail;
June 19 is House of Prime, Rodizio Grill, 2020 Tamiami Trail. 

That's as far as I've gotten for now.  July might be a Pot Luck picnic like last year, but it was so hot … may try to have it somewhere with option to be in air or outside… maybe the Beach Complex?  I will have to check on costs.
