Meeting Notice

The June General Meeting on Tuesday June 02, 2009 will be held in the Centennial Room at the Port Charlotte Cultural Center, 2280 Aaron Street, Port Charlotte, Florida

This month we are going to have a presentation  by  Past President, Larry Hurley on System Maintenance.  Larry has hosted this immensely  popular program many times over the past year and his classes are  normally filled to capacity.

Larry believes that you should maintain your computer just as you do your car.  Prevent problems by proper maintenance.

This presentation will deal with old email and attachments, cleaning and defragmentation of your hard drive, and discussions on different kinds of malware, concluding with a discussion of computer startups /shutdowns  vs leaving the computer on 24/7. and finally, a discussion of surges and power interrupts.

As always, come with your questions for the Q & A that follows the presentation.
