Meeting Notice
The October General Meeting on Tuesday October 07, 2008 will be held in the Centennial Room at the Port Charlotte Cultural Center, 2280 Aaron Street, Port Charlotte, Florida
Carl Foreman, Director of CCCGC, will make a presentation on Open Office. Carl is a proponent of the view that open Office is a worthy replacement of the competing Microsoft product known as Microsoft Word.
Carl will go over many of the features and compare them with Word. One compelling reason to consider using Open Office is price…..Open Office is Free. But…. Is that Enough.
Come, join us for a program that is sure to educate, and perhaps save you some money.
Notice:For those who have been awaiting the return of Tom Zinneman's Digital Photography Forum this fall will be sorry to hear that Tom has decided not to host the forum this year. We are trying to find a progran that we can substitute.
And also note that the monthly compute raffle will continue with a new offering this month. Tickets are $5 and are only available to members. Purchase may be made at the office or at the General Meeting
